Writers In The Park
On the last Sunday of August and September 2009, HIWA hosted Writers in the Park at the Old Airport pavilion. Although the turn out for these events was modest, the enthusiasm and interest expressed by the attendees was very encouraging. It was very obvious that the Big Island environment encourages many people to express themselves using the written word.
We would like to hear from everyone whether this kind of venue to encourage and support writing should be continued and sponsored by HIWA.
